your mailservers should have some kind of name besides localhost by what others know you. if you set your linux box hostname and domainname correctly ( for example: hostname: mail.domain.com, domainname: domain.com) then you are able to use the commands wiki provides to set the contents of files

Janno, how about these files defaultdomain defaulthost locals plusdomain all of them have "localhost" as the content compare to QMT (which build using install script) it quite differs look at the wiki http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Control_Files_by_Name still dont know what those mean?
