Hi everyone,
I'm really enjoying my power chair but I have a problem. My seating
position is less than "lady-like" ie: my knees are as far apart as
possible in the sitting position. The chair fits me well, but there
aren't any side guards like in my manual chair. I think these guards

For openers, (quad comedy) have you considered a Velcro strap? Applied at
the knees or just above the knees with decorative covering.
Also I would contact the chair provider to see if there are calf curbs. But
you always have to consider the end result from anything rubbing against your
legs t
They may own the rights but don't have a monopoly on them.
Cheaper at http://www.exmed.net/ and I'm happy with their other products too.

If your knees are splayed in that fashion, as are
mine, you should consider, again, if your chair is
REALLY fitted properly, the entire length of your
thigh should be taking pressure. do your legs
move in and out freely? If so, you may need to
lower your foot rest or raise your seat pan so
I could have sworn "River" was a male on this list. Maybe I'm losing it!
Anyway ... if I'm not sitting correctly (up straight enough) or am on a cushion that I just can't sit right on ... my knees too separate and I like my knees together. Or I feel slouched and spread .. LOL
New chair
Done a search but nada.
Anyone know where to get an embroidered patch of the wheelchair insignia? I'm going to order Brandy a service dog vest but I'd rather have the wheelchair patch on it rather than a patch saying SERVICE DOG.

This is great news for research unfortunately embryonic stem cells will continue to be destroyed until they ban IVF and will be destroyed whether we do research on them or not so instead of having 2 good things come from IVF we're doing nothing short of destroying valuable research materia
Brian,
That's my problem, I am "blessed" with Lng legs and in order to
fit this chair they had to position the seat back in a bucket style.
Foot rests are as low as they can go, can't get a taller chair because
of my van (no topper on it). If the seat is dumped then my neck and

Mark,
There is absolutely no difference. The desire to ban abortion, stem cell et al is simply political.

You're missing the point. Why throw money at embryonic stem
cell research when stem cells from non-embryonic sources, such as cord
blood, is already showing results.

Good Answer. And it just might be the right answer... but not the best
answer.

Hi River,
I like you have long legs. My manual is one foot plate and my legs
fall to the sides a little bit. We adjusted the chair so they don't fall that
bad. Invacare makes a cushion that has indents in the cushion that is
supposed to help that.
Worth asking about. I used a Velcro s

Will I wear long skirts because I had a problem with wearing panties. They were to close to my cath and made me bleed. So now as they say in the Army. I'm going commando.

She has conducted herself as a lady on the list and left no impression of

ever looked at her mention in new mobility, you could see her picture right
there.
