That was truly sick reading. I hope those guys enjoy some prison time in the system and become the wives (butt-buddies) of lifers in the system. I hope the guy with CP is able to heal and return to his home. W ** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

It is electric - uses 2 12 volt car sized batteries. The top speed is 8mph although it is advertised at 10 mph. It is a lot of fun but one has to have fairly good muscle control to operate it. Balance is very important and then there's the transfer into and out of it.

[QUAD-L] ROHO Cushion

ROHO CUSION USERS: For over a year I was in constant resolution for getting sores from sitting. Six months ago a therapist ordered a new cover for my worn out cover. She noted that I was using a cover simply one size too big. Since then I have not had even one sore nor have I even done a

Cushion pressure and cover size are VERY critical to good seating. I hate to chg covers because they seem to be different sizes which leads me to have to change pressure in my cushion - a big pain. I now use two towels sewn together to make a pillow case type cover. I fold the extra

I have had great luck with Rohos, but just last week I started to get a bad spot on my butt. It actually broke open a bit. My cushion did not have enough air in it. I was so worried about the spot since I've done so well, I called the PT I've seen a few times. I went in and she mapped my pressure

Whenever I can, yes I am. As soon as it's just me and my woman, there'll be a lot less clothes getting worn around here too!!! That makes MANY things I do much easier - however, I pull on my pantlegs to flop my legs around. Guess I'd need some straps - leather or silk might work...

Just for an FYI. If you get disabled while your under the age of 18 (or is it 21?), once a parent passes away, you can receive their Social Security. And once both pass, you can switch to what ever one is higher. I missed out on 4 years of SS, because I was never told about this after my

Dave, I have found that cushions that sit inside a cover and affixed to the seat pan with Velcro such as Roho, move a little although cushion reps and most PT's disagree. What I find that helps is to remove the cover and secure the bottom of the cushion directly to the seat pan with Velcro and

I don't attach it at all. I make a case about twice as long as the cushion, drop my 2 inch Roho in and fold over the extra. I just set this in my chair and don't have much trouble with sliding or cushion movement. (The case fits pretty snugly around the cushion.) I can lift and
