That was truly sick reading. I hope those guys enjoy some prison time in the

It is electric - uses 2 12 volt car sized batteries. The top speed is 8mph
although it is advertised at 10 mph. It is a lot of fun but one has to have
fairly good muscle control to operate it. Balance is very important and
then there's the transfer into and out of it.

a lot less clothes getting worn around here too!!! That makes MANY things I
do much easier - however, I pull on my pantlegs to flop my legs around.
Guess I'd need some straps - leather or silk might work...
Just for an FYI. If you get disabled while your under the age of 18 (or is
it 21?), once a parent passes away, you can receive their Social Security.
And once both pass, you can switch to what ever one is higher.
I missed out on 4 years of SS, because I was never told about this after my
SS often does retro-paying if they have missed something. Be sure to try
that too - it might just work and you could get a nice big fatty from them.

seat pan with Velcro such as Roho, move a little although cushion reps and most
PT's disagree. What I find that helps is to remove the cover and secure the
bottom of the cushion directly to the seat pan with Velcro and

drop my 2 inch Roho in and fold over the extra. I just set this in my
chair and don't have much trouble with sliding or cushion movement. (The
