Yes, that was where I connected up my oil pressure gauge on my H4. This was a
take off to the gauge, but in hind sight I'd fit an electrical sender if I did
it again.

Pretty sure that Martin meant a pipe fitting Y between the block and the switch
and gauge sensor.

If you mean the sender for the low oil warning light, then no as its electrical
and basically just an on/off sender. An oil pressure gauge will come with its
own matched sender unless it's a mechanical one which will
gh and connect the distributor directly
to the inlet manifold.
Or, if the vacuum controlled air filter has been removed then you could use the
manifold outlet for that which hopefully is blanked off at the moment.

That was what I thought Jim, have K chrome filter fitted & have
disconnected the crankcase breather from exiting into filter/carb, fitted a
small filter on top of the crankcase breather part inste
anything was playing up.

Ok, decided on 2 x cup style fittings on dash top , can someone confirm best
attachment point for vacuum pipe under bonnet for Vacuum gauge ?
Thanks

Now that's nice Dave, and it is a 2+2 I have. Not sure about the bird on the
dash top though

Hi Calum
I'm not sure which Q you've got so I've just dropped in this picture of the
extra gauges in my 2+2.
When I eventually put a mk2 heater in (my mk2 donor had a mk1 heater - no
face vents) I fixed a panel over the face vent outlet on the heater unit.
After cutting a panel to shape, the
