I recently purchased the Squeezebox radio as my third squeezebox device.
Other 2 devices work fine wirelessly.
This device will not connect with Wep security turned on. I spent 1.5
hours on the phone with a technician who knew very little about
networking/device/etc?
I can connect if I turn all
Strange problem. I can't change 'Repeat ' (settings - repeat), its
stuck in 'playlist'
It will briefly switch to 'off', then goes back to 'playlist'
(I've tried re-installing firmware, and a factory re-set)
Has anyone had this problem?

I'd be glad to get a remote :)
Personally, I need another Remote like I need another hole in my head.
I don't think the Touch should even come with a remote. Only the

Also, every time I wear out the battery on my SB Radio, I 'HAVE' to buy
another Remote with it? What kind of sense does that make?..
I've wondered that myself. Continually charging these batteries would
likely wear them out, no?
Maybe they can implement a

Looks like it's the Slacker Radio App that puts the 'Repeat into
'Playlist' mode.

If I had a Radio I would definitely need a remote (the Radio would be
sitting on a shelf where I had to lean all over the kitchen table to
operate it), but I would have no use for a battery at all. :)
Chances are, however, that if they were selling the battery and the
remote separately, the
A few Logi employees are complaining that their Radios sometimes appear
to be playing, but no sound comes out. Rebooting the units seems to fix
the problem. Has anyone seen this, or better yet have an idea how to
reproduce it?
Thanks for any info!

The basic touch works fine for me and has done for a long while - the

Yes,
All Squeezeboxes have done this on occasion since day one.

Lets hope the Touch is released before Christmas hey?
Even if they should dare to release the Touch with software in
pre-alpha state
I run WEP 64 without issue. Your troubles sound vaguely familiar - I
remember having trouble on initial startup of the Radio because this
radio wasn't behaving the same way as my Squeezebox V3 and my Boom.
When you go to mysqueezebox.com and look at your players does it appear
as connected? If

I hear that! SB Touch should seize this opportunity to make the gear
more zone/sync-friendly. Here's a UI suggestion for Radio: press the
volume knob (which in 7.4 toggles the mute state)

I'd like to move my Squeezebox Radio to my office and use my home

would seem that it would be possible to do the same with the radio... My

Thats a limitation in all squeezebox hardware players and also
squeezeplay.
You can only enter an ip adress as the server adress.
There is an ingnored enhancement req for that.
If your isp can give you fixed ip your ok, or like my isp the IP is
semi permanent they only change it when necessary,
There may be a way to do this. Have a look at http://www.neorouter.com.
It has some proxy capabilities.
This may or may not work. Haven't tried it.
Install Neorouter server on any computer (the SBS?).
Install Neorouter client on the SBS.
