Having disliked the Boom knob=control volume functionality, I was very happy to
see a dedicated volume control on the Radio, so the navigation knob could now
be used solely to navigate and control the player.

It does feel laggy, but I use and like the knob = art resize for several
reasons:
- some album/logo colors can make artist song text difficult to
read
- some station logo's are quite small

Hi -
I'm an habitual listener to Radio Paradise on my squeezebox radio.
One of the reasons I like RP is that they somehow change their station
logo to the album art for whatever track is playing. I find this a
really great feature. Often though, the album art disappears, reverting
to the grey
It seems to be a problem, possibly intermittent, on RP's end. See this

Agreed - but it seems strange that pressing the preset button restores
the image - temporarily at least.

Thank you, adding Playreal and mplayer did the trick. For whatever

Albright, I am also experiencing the problem regarding CBC Radio feeds.
As a Canadian living in the U.S., one of the main reasons for purchasing
this radio was to enable listening to news from Canada. In any case, I
have searched for the new URLs but to no success. I have noted, however,
that if
On my 7.5 Radio there is a ImageViewer menu under Setting and it seems
to display photos from a user defined location but it needs a simple
HTTP server to server the photos to the Radio.

I think you are right that the changes are not
finalized. Even the correct feeds are somewhat
intermittent (the annoying message referred to
above mentions possible outages).
To find the new URLs go here:

That feels like a bug.
It feels very strange if simply rotating the knob is supposed to change
currently playing song.
Yes, I raised a bug report.

Thanks for the link. I was aware of it and have used in the past.
Yesterday, when I clicked on it via my computer, I still could not

It appears that the problem, at least for me, is solved.

Yes, radiotime seems to have updated at least some

I expect they will sort things out eventually.
