If so - you could SSH to the radio and replace it with a sound of your

I think I have set this to 'disabled', tho I'm not sure if this is
the green or the black state.
We will see.
This morning JJ came on, I pressed back, then the BBCR4 button, and it came on.
And then it stopped after 2 mins, later found to have been caused by

Ask yourself this: Would the battery life of (totally guessing here)
6-10 hours be sufficient for this application if it did _not_ power
itself down completely? The big power drain here is the wifi and as
long as the Radio is in standby, the wifi would run and stay in contact
with the wireless
Thanks for the replies everyone. A couple of points:
1. I don't see why it can't just power down everything *but* the
wireless and still last for several days on battery. I've got other
wireless devices (with much smaller batteries) that in some cases last
for weeks in this state. Fair

As far as I know, alarms are never synchronized between players. If you
want both of them to play you would have to set the alarm on both.

Are you able to see your pc from other computers on your network?

You many want to consider connecting a low powered older computer to your
network (wired or unwired), which I think most people have, and install SB
server on it. You can leave that on all the time. I think the energy usage
for those old PC's would be much less than your main powerful computer.
