This morning, the fade-in function did not work at all, even without any
internet reconnect. Whatever I did, I couldn't get the radio to fade.
I restored the factory settings -> no success.
Then I deleted the player from mysqueezebox.com, rebootet the radio. It
said to have problems with logging

Same here - constant drop on Pandora and Slacker with my Radio, Boom and

I do not seem to have the issue with Sirius connections. Glad I'm not
the only one who has the issue -- I called Support they had NO IDEA
about any of these issues nor were they able to help.

So it sounds like everyone reporting this problem is using their radios
with mysqueezebox.com? Bo.S even says he switched to a local server
and it's reliable there?
Perhaps there is a connectivity issue to the servers that I am not
seeing from here at Logitech. Some people are using Slacker. W

It would be more helpful to see iptables -L -v -n, but my guess is the

Cheers,
Using my SB Radio to play my music, it is just a LITTLE BIT annoying
that when I go to Music->Artists (for instance) it starts with the
first artist EVERY TIME it has been off (regardless whether I turn it
off or the power down after 30 mins of inactivity has set in).
Any way to prevent

This is also why i had to use net-udap for my reciever i guess
tried the rules you kindly suggested they work.
iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
will they survive a reboot of the server ? I think not ?

the previous version (I think I used something 4.3) worked already

=> how can it be that an update causes more troubles then the previous

I bought my SB radio a couple weeks ago. I've seen random drops but
usually after hours of playtime. Shutting the radio off and turning
back on seems to allow it to reconnect. However this morning I noticed
drops every 5 to 10 minutes while listening to my local NPR station.

edited the "rc.firewall.local" file with those rules.
ClarcConnect does not open ports to broadcast when you opens ports in
their UI only for comunication that have the server itself as
destination as Peter suggested.

I get the same since 7.5 "upgrade" - Napster radio stations repeat the
same track on my Boom and Radio. This is in addition to the periodic
dropouts and "server not found". Before 7.5 I had everything running
smoothly. I'm going back to DAB until the next update, just using
Squeezebox for My Music
2 more 'freezes' today. Never had this problem before v7.5.0 (I've had
3 SB Radio's since Dec)
PLEASE Logitech, give us mysqueezebox.com users a way to roll-back to
7.4.2 (I'll even cancel my order for the Touch if that helps as I know
the Touch requires 7.5)
I'm in 7.5.0 Hell !

Thanks for responding bpa. Let me clarify what I'm doing. The podcast

FF/REW of local files should work fine. What version of the server are
you running? Try to get a log with player.source set to INFO, that may
show the problem.

Anybody figure out how to display charge level yet?
I installed it but have yet to figure out how to query it for %

assuming a full charge provides 6 hours as the manual indicates).

I've read for the Radio that you first press and hold the FF or REW
until you get the timeline, then let go, then press it again and now it
acts as FF or REW.
Most times the podcast just reloads from the beginning. I can get this
to work sometimes, so I assume it is just a difficult trick I will
I listen to podcasts on the mysqueezebox server not the local server.

minutes as they fly by. The audio will
Yes, I have the same issue too. I thought that it might had been a

I recently got my Squeezebox and all was ok until this latest FW

bugs.

When selecting Internet Radio / Local I live in another country every
day. I live in the Netherlands, but in one week I've been in France,
Germany, the UK and today I live in Denmark.
It's kinda annoying, but funny too - where will I live tomorrow? Place
your bets, gentlemen :)
