Thanks for providing the log.
For some reason the Radio gets the message to play a stream at
05:14:15. At the same time it realizes that its the alarm time and
fires the backup alarm.
Only at 05:14:18 it receives the actual alarm event from the server (so
three seconds late) and ignoring at as

This is no proof at all. When you normally play a stream it is
buffered, so you won't realize short dropouts. Just play your Radio,

I frequently have my alarm set to internet radio and let it play until
it turns itself off. I have never experience a back up alarm after turn
off. The only time I have heard the back up alarm is at the beginning
instead of the radio station. I am running FW 7.5, but this never
happened to me unde
I have had this happen to me as well. At the moment, I think the only
way to deal with the problem is to press the alarm button on the front
of the radio and deactivate the alarm before it goes off.
Perhaps we should request this as an enhancement on the bug page.

As written in other threads one could help if you provided logs from the
Radio.
Typically the logs prove that there IS a (possibly very short)
connection drop - so the fallback alarm has good reason to start !
These connection dropouts were the cause for non-sounding alarms in
previous releases.
Think that pretty much sums it up! I have the transparent digital clock
for while something is playing and the black and white digital clock
when it has stopped. If I use sleep mode (the one thing I have found to
work consistently well, so I expect in the next release it will die a
horrible death)
And now it doesn't. If I'm lucky I get about ten seconds of the radio
station I set to be the alarm sound before that AWFUL loop starts. And
there's no nice fade in either. Just ON and IN YOUR FACE noise!
I would roll back, but the release and associated duet release fixed
some problems with that.
thanks for the help

Don't connect them to the back, that's the line IN jack. You have to
connect them to the side, which is the headphone jack. The speakers

Hi,
I know it is possible to fast forward through a listen again playback
to a desired location but is it possible to step forward in larger
chunks? Trouble I have found is that sometimes if you get the
forwarding wrong the content starts again from the begining meaning you
have to start again. I
Hi,
I noticed this after the latest firmware update. It seems to happen
when you switch the player out of standby to on but don't play anything
straight away and goes to this screen saver mode. As soon as you press
play or anything else the screen returns to normal. When you have the

Primoo, as long as I had the two radios, it never worked. It's a bug in
the firmware, and reported using Bugzilla. We just will have to wait
for Logitech to fix it.

Well I'd check for IP conflicts before I bothered setting all to
static.

Similar to your recent comments on availability of Receivers and
Touches, can you comment on this pack? On order for two weeks ("order
in process"), with no clear statement of availability anywhere in the

Yes, it should switch to MySB by itself.
Are you using a router to connect all of your devices?
If you are using your computer to connect your Radio then that would
explain your problem.

Agreed but having to vote for bug fixes i
The only thing I can suggest is to check the IP address of all devices,
see if your Radio's IP is duplicated on any other device.

Fixing bugs in software isn't like voting for a new elected official.
Why should we have to vote to get legitimate issues fixed?
Come on Logitech, this shouldn't be a popularity contest - how about we
try to fix ALL the bugs?

My alarm has worked ONCE the way it should since that HORRIBLE 7.5

MSB.
Welcome to the club sSNICKERSs. :)
I need to make some time to downgrade to the previous version. But it's
something I really shouldn't have to do.
