Today, my Squeezebox Radio came on at the right time with the alarm, but
the internet radio stream stopped playing after 30 mins and I was left
with the clock showing, the alarm timeout is set to 60 mins. I thought
this was the setting that controlled how long the alarm was on for?

Though there are people who wouldn't/couldn't get their Radio back,
fiddled a bit with the system and now have a rock solid alarm
function.
I can only speak of local server operation (which with the arrival of
the Touch got very easy for anyone wanting to expand anyways) but also
heard of people
Logitech has opened a new bug for this problem. If you have previously
voted for bug 16046, this bug has been closed. Evidently two (or more
bugs got mixed into this one and the techs believe that they have cured
one of them and have opened a new bug for the rest.)

The rollback worked for me too, but now I can't get around the nasty
update screen. None of the buttons let me get past the update, only
accepting puts the radio back into business. How do you guys manage to
skip the update?

Those of you who still experience problems with squeezebox radio
randomly shutting off to the clock while listening to internet
stations, please vote for bug # 16170 at bugzilla.

I was having the alarm issue as well up until about two weeks ago. In
addition to that my album art would freeze often and the system seemed
to crash a lot. I read on a post (can't remember which one) that
changing the radio station buffer was a workaround. I changed my radio
station buffer fro

Thanks for your reply, andI will try it, although the phone support

figured out yet.
How can I get 7.5.1? My radio states the firmware (7.5.0) is "up to
date" and will only redownload and re-install that one.

Hi
I configured my Radio to sleep at the end of the next track, and I have
the 'When Off' screensaver set to be a clock. However on waking during
the night I found that the display showed "Problem Connecting" (to
SBS). :-(
I guess this message was partially due to the fact that my SBS PC goes

Hi
I'm trying to set this control but it seems that the setting only dims
the display in the 100% - 80% range, from then on down nothing
changes.
A forum search turned up an aside comment that "(This is to prevent
jumps while using the slider.)" but I just don't understand that,
especially since

an ALARM!! I find that it activates at seemingly random times AFTER the

radio and thought I may have been setting it incorrectly, but after a

Not a chance. As the BBC will see no need for it - the BBC iPlayer
interface provides a time bar where a user can click anywhere. As I

I have left a message on the radio labs and iplayer FAQ as to wheather
this could be implemented though...

I absolutely agree with you all. I belong to that group of people who
like the Squeezebox idea so much, that despite the Radio's obvious
shortcomings (do I have to say alarm, alarm and alarm? ) that they
purchased another Squeezebox to go with it (a SB3 that could have been
a Touch, but then, th

Unless you significantly change the logging settings in the Radio, the
logs usually hold a couple days worth of data. :)

LOL - I'm not the web maintainer for logitech canada;
Of course, I've tried to contact logitech canada about
this. The official response was that they have no
information about the battery pack at all.

I agree to all of your points. Just to play some simple tunes there
shouldn't be a connection to MySb.com needed. I guess i was just the
fastest way for them from 'hey we can use any stream for alarm' to 'uh
oh - some users just want some simple tunes'.
