I forgot to mention the apps. There are apps that allow you to access specialized radio services directly without your computer. The two that I use, in addition to RadioTime and Podcast Player, are Pandora and Last.fm. These are free music services that stream non-stop free music based on your per

Basically, any radio station that provides streaming audio to the internet is available on the Squeezebox Radio. Also available are audio podcasts. If you have favorite stations or programs, go to their websites and find out if their programs are available. If you are not looking for anything in

Thanks all. Forgot to mention that my problems (off, on, no clock, etc., etc.)are all with mysqueezebox.com ; the server software seems much better. But, purchased the radio mostly for internet radio and Pandora/slacker. Guess I'll stay with 7.4.2 a bit longer. -- sordof --

I just wasted a whole week thinking that 7.5.2 is better. Logitech is going backward with a lot of functions and is in fact a lot more unstable. Internet radio connection disconnects very frequently. Reverted back to 7.4.2 after a week of nightmere and everything is stable again. I guess it is

The issues with SBS were never significant (compared to those with MSB.com). The issues with MSB.com have not gone away. They're still there. People have been using workarounds or have reverted to earlier firmware versions. A new firmware was downloaded today. I'm hoping they've addressed the ma

Now that I have a battery I'm loving this thing. Since I run almost exclusively on SBS, I've never had the major issues that kept this forum busy for so long. I did have a few gliches with 7.5.1 and down-graded to 7.5.0 and no problems now. (But I can't even remember what those issues were).

Pretty sure it's still streaming audio - the router lights are doing "continuous blinky" activity, as opposed to just the odd wink. But - as I updated in my post - the unit does appear to properly go to sleep after a few more minutes. If that's a byproduct of the architecture, I suppose I could
