Hello,
I have a Squeezebox Radio running on the Logitech Media Server (Logitech
Media Server Version: 7.7.2 - r33893 @ Wed Mar 14 06:37:22 MDT 2012)
Until last week, everything was fine, but this week I installed a new
NAS (QNAP TS-453 Pro) with the Media Server app installed. Previously
this was
a few minutes.
There was a recent post that seems to suggest the issue has been
resolved.

s off while playing.
But I can't complain, it's still working after a week. Before that it
would need a software update on almost a daily basis.
Despite these problems I still like the device. But I would recommend a
Boom for your garage. That has a lot more power for the larger spac
problems, and I do
hope Logitech sort these out as quickly as possible as well. One thing
is though, you will find most of the people here very helpful.

sually it's the
former. My other SB2 and Boom never have this problem. I have no other
wifi issues in the apartment.

individual device and configure is far less efficiant than having a
central location.

^^ I have to agree with the above. I have a SB2, Boom and Radio, and the
newest, my radio, has the least options in MSB.com. I am hanging out for
the minimum auto brightness level which is offered on these settings for
my Boom for one.

hich one did you use? Custom Browse or Multi Library? I may look into
it again, but what's holding me back was that the last time I tried it I
just found it way too complicated to set up. Surely it could be as easy
as a two step process, 1) create a new library, b) point to
find their
own.
Glad this solution works for you. I'd be interested to know if you also
get the odd song that doesn't upload or if it really is just me.

or it. Personally I do as I imagine most people won't come to this
forum and would just want their setup to work as simply and easily as
possible, where as a good deal of people on these forums are tech heads
who don't mind tinkering with their kit and
the minimum brightness one or two levels higher would
be good.

gone. But I switched off the unit and powered back up and they were
there as expected. Have you tried this before resetting them?
I have had the same presets on my Boom for over a year and never had a
problem as well.

ut at night it looks horrible. You can still see the
big rectangle of the black background as it is far from black and is
still too bright. Does the SBRadio also have this problem?

I managed
to get it to start up when the PC starts up before (before anyone
logging on) but can't seem to do this in my new Win7 installation. Any
idea?
I agree with the other points that running via SBS is better. But I
just can't loose that clock ;O)

SB2. Sometimes nothing plays, or sometimes the song stops half way
through. Would this be one of those cases where the Radio would select a
preset wave file to play? Has anyone tested the Radio clock with the
unreliability of MP3tune
Hello,
Does anyone know if the Boom remote will also work for the Radio? I
have a boom and it would be silly to have to buy the extra remote when I
have a perfectly good one in the house.
For that matter, would the SB2 remote work with the radio?

Maybe the next model radio or Boom will have this feature.

Sounds good. Thanks for this tips.
A bit of a pity the radio doesn't have the server built in like the
Touch, but it does look like a good option for the bedside table.

What is the display like for a bedside alarm clock? The original Boom is
brilliant with it's display, it goes dim and the simple green writing on
a pure black display panel was perfect. However, a "screen" display
seems odd for a clock. How does this look at night? Any image
