label designer. Adjusting the object height solved the problem. Mine was too
tight.
Why it would change suddenly is a mystery, but worth checking.

My experience has been the files with a ~ symbol are temporary files that
should have been deleted by the application, usually upon exiting the app.
Sample file Name: ~filename.tmp.Perhaps you should check your setting for
temp files. You can type SET at the R> which will
totals, etc., as demonstrated in the SubTotalsAndTotals report.
