In a sort of related tone, I ran 26" wheels on a 700 bike that was previously converted to 650B by Ed Braley. I found that Tektro 556 brakes could handle the range, just barely, if I changed the bake pads to the narrow canti style Kool Stops. The normal Tektro issue pads would rub the tire on th
