I have a KNOG 12 function NERD bike computer. It is wireless and
mounts super easy. I picked it up assuming that I wanted a computer
but now I am thinking I don't want one. I had it out to inspect it
but put it right back in the box. It was never installed and is brand
new with a new warranty

They have knobs (except where I've scissored them off), and they're
40mm wide. Narrower than stated, but too fat for cyclocross.

This is a preliminary poll to feel out list members who might be
interested in an unofficial group ride. This is not yet a commitment
to unofficially host the event (Unofficially, ala RBW’s Unofficial Mt.
Diablo rides). I’m only testing the waters to gauge the overall
interest of list members.
I have NERDs on two bikes. They're very nice, and those of us who wear reading
glasses appreciate the very large numbers on the digital readout.

I sold my Quickbeam earlier this year. It was my favorite to ride, yet I
rode it the least. I found that unless I rode it consistently, the lack of
multiple gears made longer/hillier rides less than pleasant. When I rode it
a lot, my muscles and cardio adjusted and it was fine. So long/short
Stopped to take this about midway through a 45-mile ride. Although not on a
Riv, I was riding fillet brazed steel (fixed gear), sitting on leather, and
wearing wool.

Had it set up with a bunch of Riv parts, but they are going to another
project (a Bombadil I have on order) , so I'm letting it go. A great
old 5 speed lugged steel English-made Raleigh Sprite in a kind-of-rare
25 (C to T) size. 34 1/2 standover. Upgraded wheels in 700c using
Mavic MA40 rims and

I purchased a QB from this list a couple of weeks ago. To be honest -

load for a Rambouillet? Assuming a 220lb rider, 30lb child in a rear
