I've used various brands of sealant in tubes (you can get it into
presta valve even if the valve does not have a "removable" core: just
force the locknut off, let the core fall into the tube, fill, locate
the core by feel and work it back up to and into the stem -- it's no
big deal) both on and off

Thanks for the link. I also found that image, plus a couple others of the same
bike, after posting here. I also communicated with Grant and the Hunqapillar
