I am currently trying to eliminate a truly annoying chain slip on my new-to-me 62 Hunq, and it occurred to me that I am using a new-to-me derailer, and that could be causing the problem. Should it cause me a problem? I have the sugino triple crank, and the standard riv 8 speed cassette 11-32.

I've ridden JB Blues and Greens and 35mm Marathon Supremes. I'm not a fan of the Blues, they feel rather sluggish. The Greens are a great tire and I love the ride although they aren't super durable. For commuting or rambling, I'd say go with the Supremes. They wear well and ride nicely. --mike --
