I converted my 68cm Ram to 650bx42 briefly. It was a fun experiment but in the end, I prefer it as 700x33.3. The frame (and likely the Redwood) will easily take those tires and 52mm fenders - or 584 knobbies of some kind. Although the tire and fender clearances for conversion were nearly ideal
