I have 38mm G-1's on my Ritchey Ti Cross Breakaway and they are awesome.
IMO the best all-around tire made. I guess they are made in various sizes
now so that's what I would get if available in your size.

You had me worried for a moment - I read your G-ONE as G-O-N-E, "gone."
Odd that they keep revising and re-issuing and re-naming these tires. As
long as that means they're actually committed to making large-volume,
supple, balloon tires, I guess all is good and there's no need to panic and

Sorry, can't comment on hunqa-fit. Those are very different tires. As
noted, the Ardent is a serious mountain knobby. I used an Ardent on my 29er
for a while. I didn't like it that much. For a tire in that style and size,
I much prefer the Panaracer Rampage.

I'm liking the Choco-norms so far. It's been a change to have a bar with so

Ashwath, I believe I saw that you're about my height, 5'-7", 80-ish PBH, and

Hey Esteban!
I sometimes run a 2.4 Ardent in the front of my hunq. 2.4 is too big for
the rear though. At least with the bottom bracket/drivetrain I'm running. I
get the chain rubbing on the tire in low gears. 2.4 front / 2.25 rear seems
to be a good setup for me.
Ardent is pretty chunky,
