I ended up ordering a bag from Randi’s new color line today. Campfire color;
and when you hold up the RBW patch to it = perfect match. ❤️

Hi!
Is the Bay Area 25th anniversary meeting still happening? Did it move to a
separate mail list? I’m planning a trip to San Francisco and would love to
combine it with this ride.
Thanks!

Leah,
I second Jonathan’s suggestion. The Rivelo camera bag is really nice. The
photos do not make justice. I would guess that one could fit my 40oz bottle.
I also recall John posting that Randy was there for a trunk show a week or two
ago, and left some regular bartender bags as well as caps
I mentioned this on similar IG post but my experience is that if you inquire
with RandiJo she’ll probably tell you that if you send her a patch (Rivendell
or whatever) she’ll work with you to get you the Bartender you want. That’s
assuming you’re not impatient.

Hey, that’s my neck of the woods! If you are going to be staying in Boulder
city, you really need to check out the hikes in that area. How fit are you?
Goldstrike Hot Springs is an amazing, not to be missed hike. It is very
challenging and there is some rock scrambling so you have to be in
I don’t know the exact measurements but an 8cm Nitto dirt drop might give you

Hey Paul. I was in Las Vegas last fall for a trade show. On the last day, I
rented a bike from a shop there for the day. They have a plan where they will

Sorry, I meant the distance between the two parallel bits (the top platform
and the rod between the two lower bosses).
Thanks for the clarification on the prototype vs production, though!

that's part of the reason why I want to revert to drops. I love being
upright but the reality is I'm dragging and I'm already a relatively slow
rider. I just feel like I have better leverage with drops even with a
short stem. Would love to see your bike.

It looks like I will be in the Las Vegas, NV
area the week of May 20th.
This will be my first trip to the area other than a brief layover at the
airport years and years ago.
I'm not sure I will get any riding in as I will be with an elderly gentleman,

I’m running mine with Crust Towel Rack bars right now—it’s very comfy, but I
should probably be on a 64cm Appaloosa (if they existed) so the long TT is less
of an issue. I’ll post a photo later on if I get a chance. I found drops made
it feel a good bit “faster”.

Curious if anyone has tried something like this on their threaded fork?

Is anyone on the list running drops on their Apps? I recently built up my

Heyo,
What is the distance between the top rack and the lower mounting point? Any
difference between the prototype and the production run?
Potentially Interested,

I’ll just mention that I’ve found the VO Mojave cage works quite well with both
my 32 oz klean kanteen growler and my 40 oz hydroflask (both insulated). If you
want a frame mounted cage that will fit larger diameter bottles they do exist.

OK, misunderstood; I thought Islabikes were walking bikes for toddlers. No,
I can see a 7 or 8 year old appreciating something better than a 12" wheel
department store bike.

Because of size? Aesthetics? I use King Cage Iris cages for my Klean Kanteen 27
