One follow up (sorry, working from memory): there may also be a small seal
between the freehub body and the pawls. It can be gently pried up to access the
pawls and pressed back into place before reassembly.

I think joe is right. As soon as you take possession it’s gonna lose a little
value, unfortunately, but especially on a newer model riv like this. Is
shipping part of the price? If so, I’d say that more clearly. If not, I’d
recommend you make it so, or knock some off the price, or add some
Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but what about a 48cm Sam
Hillborne? My partner is like 5’0” and her’s fits great.

It's priced fairly as an as-new frame, but people still have a psychological
barrier go get through because it's not directly from Riv. It'll sell at that
price eventually, but if you just want it gone I'd drop the price a couple
hundred.

I have several leather saddles on various bikes. For example I have a
vintage brooks B17 Pro, and a vintage a Ideale model 90. I try to take
really good care of them. I have covers for rain and I use Obenaufs LP. As
well as occasional Proofhide or Martexin Wax. These are older saddles. No

I have one of the prototype Silver hubs and I'm pretty sure the production ones
have the same internals. I've had mine open a few times and it's pretty
straightforward. You don't even necessarily have to remove the cassette.

Has any one serviced one of Rivendell's Silver free hubs? I want to grease
the pawls to quiet things down back there (I have Phil Tenacious Oil for
this), but the only free hub I've worked on is a VO, which doesn't need any
tools. I've figured out that the Silver hubs were made by KT, but
These are beautiful and classy looking. I don't own one but I'd like to.
Also perfect for winter weather dog walking and camping.
