gravitational pull that many of the models have more similarities than
differences. I see the Roadini more as a sportier, tigged version of the

Just to be clear about what I wrote, I don't consider the fact that some

Hi Roberta! Stop at the visitor center first to grab your day permit and then
head to the ride start (Minnewaska). Be sure to get there by 10am so you’re
sure to get a parking spot.

Are they making 650b Copenhagen wheels yet?

Mark, I would be inclined to agree that the ebike has a lot in common with a
scooter, moped, et. Al., and riding one initially will only encourage that
notion, but prolonged exposure reinforces it's bicycleness.
My take on the whole thing now with 800 miles on mine is that (for me anyway)

What an ebike is depends massively on which one you're riding and what it's
for. My current ride is a RANS Crank Forward with a Copenhagen Wheel which is
shortly to be transferred to a Riv A/R. This is pedal assist only - no throttle
- and freewheels well enough to be run some miles at 0 assist,
No, and Superpedestrian is going to get run out of the market if they don't
expand their options soon. They need 650B/27.5, and all sizes need a disc mount
option.

Joe, I think what you are talking about is Apple's vs. Oranges in the Ebike
sphere. I guess technically it's still an Ebike, but it's different at the same
time. Which kinda goes back to what I said about regular bikes and Ebikes
diverging.
The "Ebike" is evolving so fast and the bikes and their

Yes, I think insta-ready all-road bikes have been *en vogue* for several
years, and a 28mm-tired bike called "Roadini" isn't that, even if
UltraRomance rides one.

This morning, I overtook a guy and thought I may have been too abrupt or

I moved my eye up and to the left to check my rear view mirror.

Not many of us can be as observant and profound as you, Garth. Thanks for

Hi Mat,
Funny, I didn't notice you had expressed the cut in a ratio, I just
read your meaning and knew what you were talking about. Thanks for sharing
your experience with layering Newbaum's and shellac penetration, that's a
big help. I'll stick with a 1 lb to 1.5 lb cut for the first few

My camp bike and camp gear are unavailable at the moment, so my plan is to

NYC.

It's like a form of anticipation, but as an adult, you can't hold that
anticipation nearly as long; anticipating for weeks the last day of school,
the night before Christmas. Remember when it was "4-6 weeks for delivery"
for stuff on the back of the cereal box? But we don't have time for
