To be completely clear, it is the 56cm Sam Hillborne that has a Kasai
Dynacoil dynamo front hub.

Correction on the build list. The dynamo front hub is not a SON Deluxe.
It is a Kasai Dynacoil like Rivendell sells. I used that one in part to
facilitate a slightly easier integration with the magnetic interconnectors
that drive the USB charger.

After thinking on this a bit, I think I'm going to have two handlebar

That's not actually the point of it, it was offered to Bill as a solution for
bike sharing. The intention on some models was to have longer ETTs per each

could ride it at 5'10" and could loan it to somebody around 5'5" or so with

raises the floor on the shortest person who can borrow it.

I'd guess that DiaCompe may well be making both the shifters and the
mounts. As those mounts have been out for a while I'm guessing they are
not the Riv-designed ones we're waiting for, but hopefully we'll all find
out!

Correct, I didn't say anything about a shorter ETT. It was a misunderstanding
about a quote in another thread which Bill cleared up.

Thanks for bringing that up Julian. I see how my subject line may have been
imprecise. I saw that ENE demarcation on the mounts, and interpreted the
following translated product description as meaning they (either BL or RBW) had
requested the mounts be made by Dia-Compe for the XO shifters.

Like Joe mentioned, the smaller size would have a shorter effective top
tube length, thus shortening your reach. He probably mentioned it because
maybe you mentioned you intended to run it with drop bars.

Those are mounted on the Dia Compe ENE mounts, not the new Riv mounts.
The shifters themselves are available now from Riv in the US. IK do not
believe that the Riv mounts are available from Blue Lug or anyone else just
yet...

I couldn't see how it could get better but it just did. I like the changes.
I am curious about the difference between Toyo and Waterford frames. I just
bought a blue AHH from a list member that has 3 water bottle mounts.
