Good on you, Leah! Being able to maintain and fix one's bicycle is just shy
of the fun had in pedaling it. Carry on and one day you'll be building your
own wheels!

I can't true up a whole bent-outta-whack wheel and won't even try. I can
true one very small section that's wobbled a little off center and that's
about it, any more and it's going to the bike shop!

Kurt, I would base this on whether or not I was running 32 mm tires or 42+
mm tires. I had a 61 cm frame that was fine with 32 but if I wanted to
really use the generous tire clearance, the top tube was higher than
desirable off road. From what I understand, a 56 cm with 26” tires could

Thanks Joe! Over the last few years I just haven’t seen them sit very
often. At least I don’t “need” to sell it. Spring time and tax return
season is coming. Haha.

Great bike, great color, it's just kind of a niche within the Riv niche so
it'll take a while to find the right buyer. Spring is coming!

these are an option too: SHIMANO PD-M324 SPD Dual Platform Pedals. They’re
easy on the purse too; however, these fit my partner’s smaller feet best;
me not so much.

I’m happy to hear I’m not totally crazy there. Not in a rush for now but if

Don't give up, don't get impatient or desperate, and don't entertain
low-ball offers. This bike is almost perfect: best size, best color, best

I second, (or third?), the recommendation of Shimano SPD's. They work great

I have Speedplay zero pedals on my road bikes and I really like them. Easy
to clip in and out. Only down side is that mud or snow can get into the
cleat which can make it hard to clip in, just need to clean the cleat first.
The MKS Solution pedal looks interesting, one side is a platform and the

I have the EH-500 on my All Road bike. I guess I recently bought it out of
habit. I used to have a pair on my ride everywhere bike (which was stolen).
I liked how I could hop on and ride to the bars or out with friends, and I

Hey Kurt. I also am 5’10 and ride a 58cm Toyo Atlantis. I’ve had the bike
for over a year now and I do agree with Riv’s fit suggestion. It is
probably the biggest frame I can handle without running into issues. I set
mine up with Tosco bars and a 110mm stem and it fits like a glove so flat
