32 Cypres narrowest I used. 28 might look funny in such a wide fork of a 650b bike. Plus, the height of the bb would probably drop alot. I noticed when I switched from 42 Hetres to 32 650b Cypres, the bike looked like it shrunk. But I liked it!! Rode great. 28's would make it look really low. --

Ha! Yes, possibly, but I'm a bit of a hobbit anyway, so I'm used to bikes that look small. On Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 4:01:42 PM UTC-6, Lum Gim Fong wrote: > > > 28 might look funny in such a wide fork of a 650b bike. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google

So is that what this is in aid of, really small size road bikes? Time was, 650C was the size of choice for really small road bikes even though only really narrow tires were available in that size. It might have made sense for manufacturers to go to 559 for such bikes -- it seems so quaint now t

Depending on the width of your rims you probably don't want to go much narrower then 32mm. Most 650b rims are mediumish width so a narrow tire would probably be challenging. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe f

Well, we can be pretty sure the Confrerie tires fit the Confrerie rims... On 10/02/2018 09:29 PM, masmojo wrote: Depending on the width of your rims you probably don't want to go much narrower then 32mm. Most 650b rims are mediumish width so a narrow tire would probably be challenging. --

These rims are 19mm, so a narrower tire would likely work. They're road wheels that have slightly wider tires at the moment. On Tue, Oct 2, 2018 at 7:29 PM masmojo wrote: > Depending on the width of your rims you probably don't want to go much > narrower then 32mm. Most 650b rims are mediumish w

So, yes, it's a small road bike that happens to have 650b wheels. I have had 650c wheels as well on another bike... and there aren't a ton of options there either. It's almost the opposite problem though. One can find narrower 650c tires, but finding wider ones becomes more of a challenge. My i
