I too have had the big battery issue, I took them apart, pulled each
battery out and moved it that was.
What is your sell voltage set too, is it going past the voltage? Is it even
reaching that voltage.

I gave up on Enphase a long time ago for the same reasons many of you are

Agreed Allan. After checking back to the original query in the thread, I
remembered that this was an existing system already previously backfeeding,
so no changes necessary. And thanks for the reminder that it was the
Xantrex labeled inverters that required the GTI.

Howie,
Your advice is misleading. You can’t add a ‘Grid Tie Interface’ to just any SW.
it has to have the 4.10 firmware, and I think it also had an additional
communication port and cable. The more common SWs had 4.01 firmware chipset,
which was Trace’s best but wasn’t compatible with the GTI.
Yes. That’s exactly what’s specified by NWES, and is a benefit of the
nonconducting nylon strap.

Hi Rick
First off dump the 5548’s, they are old and inefficient, especially for selling
to the grid. I just swapped 2 20 yr old 4024s for 2 magnums. It was a Original

As to the batteries, I prefer 2v cells, for exactl

I have over 100 SE inverters in the field over the last 7 years and the failure
rate is minimal. And NO 181/183 errors. I am just lucky???
I could trash SE on other subjects, but that's not the subject of this thread.
