Since the new micro-inverters can be easily wired into the nearest 240 VAC circuit, odds are this will be the new do-it-yourself project for homeowners. However, odds also favor new round of outlaw solar systems that are not inspected, do not have properly sized wires and breakers, and do not have

We designed and installed a few off grid systems out west about 10 years ago and found all the wells there drill halfway to China. Since here in Virginia most wells hit quality water at 30 feet, we know there was no way the single SW4048 could handle a 2 or 3 HP pump. So we installed a 300 gallon

However, its time to say this Emperor has no clothes so lets get rid
first we were concerned on one outdoor sign that the single Decca Gel 8G24 battery would not have enough storage to run two 32 watt flourescent fixtures, but it lasted almost 6 years and the old battery we recently replaced is now used in our shop for testing 12 devices.

Thank goodness this was not my project, but I just received a call from a couple that had purchased an old farm house in a rural part of the state that was almost a mile from utility lines and never had power. They are renovating the old farmhouse and applied for all permits from county and have n

We have tried this before but never seems to work out, although we have worked with several general contractors or architects to coordinate a solar installation the owner purchased direct from us and we had to install during construction.
Here is what usually happens - The contractor says, give u
copper grounding blocks and stainless steel
screws to attach the #6 copper ground wire, and I can see now just how fast the
galvanic action can dissolve metal when you don't use stainless steel hardware.

this happen, either by adding this to their charter, or at least would
offer to help us form the National Associati

membership, and she has far more experience than me in the day to day issues of

gets started and can stand on its own.
