Hi, that SQD DTU361 suggested by Dave Tedeyan appears to have a center
"off" position. The 600v Morningstar charge controller with A:B
selectability doesn't have an "off" for the incoming PV.

If you get failed, I would suggest copper split bolts to splice your skinny
wires onto
short bits of fatter wire. This solution is more clunky, more expensive, and
a wire
splice is always more risky than an uncut wire.
