Does anyone knox if it is safe to compile with -mpentium and
-mpentiumpro when using egcs-1.1.2? What about kernel compilinh.

Redhat includes the RAID patches in their SRPMs. Hence the need for a new
SRPM/RPM from Redhat for the kernel. I'd rather have them add in their
patches and QA it than waste my time adding them to the 2.2

source can be a bit problematic...
