Hello, list.
Is there any possibility of seeing gcc3-3.1 packages in 7.3?
7.2 had gcc3, why 7.3 doesn't? For now, 7.3 users are stuck
with gcc3-3.0.4 from 7.2 updates...
Or am I dreaming too much and all this is not worth filing
a RFE in bugzilla?

Hello list.
I made a package of an anti-virus program but I can't decide where
to place its virus definitions database files. It doesn't have its own
directory structure, so I have to place all files manually.
The virus db files are 'shareable', so according to FHS they should be in
/usr/share/. B

I know this one. That's not what's in the current RawHide RPM.

Hello, list.
I'm wondering where you (RedHat developers) get the source tarball
for this package, because there's no URL in the specfile.
Also I noticed that the tarball in wu-ftpd-2.6.2-3.src.rpm contains
two .src.rpms in wu-ftpd/src directory! Hence its size.
I made a patch to correct many compi

Works for me. gcc-2.96-81 (from seawolf).

Hello list,
there is a thread on guinness-list going on now regarding this issue,
but I feel it is more on topic here, so I'll ask my question here:
What version of kernel headers is current rawhide glibc-2.2.2-7 built
with? On ftp.task.gda.pl rawhide mirror there is no kernel-headers
package:

Hello list
How do I submit such things to RedHat developers?
Specifically, I have built many packages for myself based on RH spec
files but using new versions of software, for example:
postfix-20010222
tin-1.5.8
I know there is contrib.redhat.com, but only non-distribution packages
