hair loss, I finally got sendmail 8.10.2 to work with sasl and smtp auth.
The same machine is also using Cyrus imapd. It is my understanding that

exactly what I wanted to implement (apache, ssl, php,
mysql, rh6.2). I did find the apache-ssl-1.3.6_1.35-3
rpms in contrib but I am getting a nasty seg fault

i forgot, the installer, i think does install from the hard drive, but
the files need to be in a specific place. i think its
/tmp/helix-install? then when it tries to install from the net it
notices that there are already files there and asks if you want to use

node hubbed 10Mbit network at home. One node is my linux box, RH 6.2
w/ RH 2.2.14-12 kernel RPM with 2 NICs and a RoadRunner cablemodem

I've done the same and had no problem--even as root. BTW, you don't have
to re-boot to see if everything is OK. I consider that a Windows thing
which linux doesn't need. The most you may need to do is unmount a
partition and fsck it after you are done deleting things.

root directory instead of one on a much larger partition, and it filled up

aquiring existing technology, then making it "their own" (such that others
come to think MS did it in the first place) by changing it, or making s
