Telocity gave the modem 1 IP address 216.222.176.234 and the Computer
another 216.222.176.233
You might first have to configure the telocity modem http://10.5.2.1 or
something like that.
That's all I can remember. I switched to Comcast cable(fiber) and it is

Hi
All,
I am running RedHat
8.0. How do
I go about creating a short-cut icon on the desktop, or the menu bar for
/usr/lib/ICAClient/wfica?
I want to set it so
that users do not have to go to a terminal window and type the
command.
Thanks
the command
you will need
ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfica /home/username/.gnome-desktop/
That should sort it for you,
Regards,
Adam

and set
IPADDR=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
NETMASK=255.255.XXX.XXX
BOOTPROTO=static
ONBOOT=yes

Hi,
This might be a DUMB question (trying to learn Linux here) but I cannot find
any specific info/how-to:
My RH8 box sits on a NT network and can ping all, even the networked
printers.
I have HP4100 and HP1200 and Savin9935DPE printers. How do I go about
getting
the RH8 box to print to any/all
not connecting to citrix server through browser. this citrix server is on
our lan but under someone elses control. it doesn't have any web based
services enabled on it. i am just using it to test my RH8.0 and citrix client
implementations.
