Hi All, Recently installed my new Red Hat 5.1 Everything looked ok by now except that I can see the following warning each time I boot my system. I did customized my kernel after initial installation, with the kernel sources= linux-2.0.34.tar.gz. The offensive message is:

Hi, I just received my RH 51 and installed it without problems. I did recompiled the 2.0.34 kernel from the sources (linux-2.0.34.tar.gz) but now the only thing which I can see strange at boot time is a message: Finding modules dependencies... can't open /lib/modules/preferred/modules.dep I

Hi, I recently send a message to the list asking for help because I was not able to open glint anymore. I have found that the reason is the recent upgrade to XFree86-3.3.2 in my Red Hat 4.2 system. I can not open glint neither at my notebook. I did opened it with XFree86-3.3.1 which was the

Hi All, I did tried to update my XFree86 to 3.3.2 with the new rpm's available. Everything went ok, except that when I tried to update XFree86-3.3.2.i386.rpm it said that it needs pam-0.59 ?:-( I think pam-0.59 is from Red Hat 5.0 and I do not want Red Hat 5.0 for the moment. Some suggestion
