had it setup as a windows box for two years, and it worked fine. Bios
sees it ok. Redhat doesn't see it at all.
Any other ideas?

Sorry, just dug this up from the archives.
You need to modify an SSL directive, refer to the mod_ssl
documentation for more information on it (security of course)..
I looked and didn't find what I was looking for. Which file do I modify?

Hi Doug,
I have squirrelmail up but I want to use it for a front end

I've actually been running this for a few months now. I would recommend
using the tarball version on their site, rather than the rpm from redhat.
Anyone any thoughts any configs or howtos?

Have you been to the Squirrelmail site at all?
Thank you again, Jody
You're welcome!
- do I need LDAP on the squirrelmail
server to do this?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you do. I used openldap, which was part of the redhat
8 installation. The good news is, I didn't have to do anything with it, it
just has to be running.

before anyone gets too cranked up about this, it is almost

a quick browse of www.chtah.com shows an obvious

How would I go about getting that in webmin on my production server?

Help
Have you checked the documentation at http://www.list.org ?
I wanted to be sure I knew where stuff was, and how redhat set it up.
Also, in /usr/share/doc/mailman* you'll find some documentation. The
INSTALL file has some instructions on creating a test mailing list and
this should get you
to that folder, what chmod number should I use? Am I even making any
sense?

Do a

It says package not installed.
I tried downloading the rpm you recommended, and it gave me an error. I'm
pretty sure one of the updates once I setup the machine was for php. So, the
error said something about being the wrong version number.

Does your Linux box show up in your Windows Network Neighborhood (are
they still calling it that?)?
No, that's the problem, it's not showing up. I know it's a picky thing, I'd
just like to see it there. With Windows 2000 they changed network
neighborhood to my network places for some reason.
In your samba configuration file...you're using webmin,
rightclick on Windows Networking in the samba module, and make sure
that the
workgroup is set to the same as your Windows workgroup name.
You might also want to check the netmask of your Linux box, and make sure

Strange. Ah-well, when all else fails, wipe Windows and
install Linux.
Well, as much as I'd love to do that, the 300+ users on those windows
machines probably wouldn't like that too much. ;)

You might also check to see if RH has released any GNOME errata RPMs

restarting Nautilus may help fix the problem.
With that box, each time I click ok, it keeps coming back. I've tried
