Oh it does get it's IP address but it does not get the netmask I specified
nor does it get a default gateway entry.
I tried adding a route manually but I either did it wrong or there is
something else amiss. :(

On my dev-server, running RHL 7.2 all up2date, I can no longer run
Firestarter through VNC. It does run fine through regular X session though!? :S
