clicked on the red-dot. I waited to see what the updates were but all that
happened was my hard drive went to thrashing. I let this go on for about
10 minutes and said enough is enough. I p

How do I mount a drive using NFS. I can mount any specific shared
directory on my XP box but can't seem to do the whole drive. The drive

Are you 100% sure nmbd is running? I have found my stops for unknown
reasons or it never starts at all. I have to manually start it. I
don't know why, maybe a problem with the sysconfig script or something.

I have vsftpd set-up on my RH 8.0 box. When I ftp in from my XP Pro
box, I only see /bin, /etc, /lib, and /pub. How/what do I need to do to
see all directories?
I am using ftp between the 2 boxen to x-fer files. I have tried setting
up samba and am getting close but still no cigar.
TIA

How do you configure
RH 8 to boot up with multiple login windows. I'm using the Gnome desktop
if it matters. It would be convenient not to have to login in and out as
root or as a user.
