option to use.
If you typed the command exactly as above then you're just one char off:
rpm --rebuild --target=i686 your.src.rpm
You just needed --^ the equal sign

use the -f switch to load the module, despite any kernel version
differences. Just an idea, anyway. Does the readme not indicate for which
kernel the module was compiled, if any?
