It's almost always a bad idea to have your cgis in your main document

Yup...the problem is that you have the document root at /home/tss/cgi-bin,
to start with...adding the ScriptAlias line makes Apache think that the
cgi-bin directory for that will have a URL of /home/tss/cgi-bin/tss/cgi-bin.

Hello all,
I'm trying to set up an apache virtual host, and I'm almost there. I've got a host name pointing to a URL which seems to be working just fine, but the problem is that it's a cgi script and my browser is not executing it, it's displaying the code. Here's what the code of the cgi script:

Has anyone setup virtual hosting under sendmail ?
This is what I want :

Hello all,
I'm trying to get an apache virtual host set up on Red Hat 7.0, and I really
don't know where to start. I have written a cgi application, called oncall,
that I want to make easy to access via a browser. Right now to access the
application, you have to type in the full URL, which is:

Hey,
I've hit a weird one. Most likely I'm just overlooking something but I don't know
what, hopefully some one can point it out to me.
I have a server running Apache, all setup in the main server section. Just now I tried
to add a name based virtual host and the NBVH seems to be "taking over"

Howdy,
Does anyone know of good tutorials, how-tos or articles on sendmail administration, or
running virtual hosted web sites (i.e. more then just how to use apache for virtual
hosting 0 info on virtual ftp, mail and http all together)?
If anyone has any good pointers or URLs I'd sure

http://www.apache.org also has some great documentation on setting up name

Scott,
I have a couple of questions first...
1. When you say virtual hosting do you mean like multiple web domains and
email?
2. If you answered yes to 1 then are you planning on doing IP or name based
virtual web hosting?
Let me know and I'll tell you what I know...

versions of RH. I am using 6.1. Has anyone tried Linuxconfig to do this

Works well.

I had heard that there're pop3 daemon using "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as the

I believe there are pop daemons that can do this, but don't know off hand.
There is one that is menat to run on a box with no logins that can do

i was wondering if it is possible to do virtual web/mail/ftp hosting on a

for multiple domains. Web seems possible with apache, anonymous ftp doesn't

for wu-ftpd and the current popper doesn't allow a same userid@domainA and
