This should work. Check that the partition on the zip drive is
really sda4 by running the command "fdisk -l /dev/sda" .

No, as it turns out, you have not.

I don't know anything about these devices, but they are devices. Mounting by
themselves they would appear as sda, but when trying to mount both would one
not be assigned as sdb?

What's the format of the drive? Ext2 ext3 Fat32
You might have to tell mount what type it is (mount -t vfat)

Subject: Cannot Mount Thumbdrive and Zip250 a
For some reason I am getting this error when I try to
mount a zip250 and thumbdrive usb.
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
/dev/sda, or too many mounted file systems
I have made the proper entries in /etc/fstab
and here are my mount commands:

Hi.
Further to my saga of (re) mounting an iomega zip250 that I have been
using, I searched Iomega site, and the site docu says Iomega does not
support Linux for the zip250.
Unless I have been hallucinating with my backups for a year or there is
something fishy here...

So you mean you have an entry in ~/.bashrc like
alias zipload='modprobe parport_pc; modprobe imm;'
Another possibility would be to add the modules to /etc/modules.conf or
/etc/rc.d/rc.local but I don't know the right syntax for either
possibility...

Got my Zip250 drive to work under Linux. I had to
reboot and now it doesn't.
In order to get it to work, I had to load to modules:
parport_pc and imm.
When I try to load these modules at root I get a bunch

Hi All.
I remember that I could eject some zip drive but the Iomega zip250 seems
to throw this error :
"eject: unable to eject, last error :invalid argument"
Anyone else getting that ?
