Early in December, 2003, Bernard Stasi presented President Chirac "The
Report of the Committee of Reflection on the Application of the Principal of
Secularity in the Republic." In response to the participants I put together
a translation of "The Report." Because of the interest of the publishi
I will be putting together an article on the Stasi Report and the
subsequent French law. I will welcome citation of any relevant
articles.

To my surprise, I received a request today for my translation of the Stasi
Report from someone who is not a member of this listserver. It seems that
at least some of our messages get on Google.
In return, the requester sent me a copy of the bill which was adopted by the
