I've been trying to get a replacement cable for a Hygain HG-52SS. They
recommended TT as the only possible (emphasis on that word) source.
So, who would you recommend for them?

Milo,
The number 19C328763G1 does not appear in the GE microfiche index as an end
item, so I suspect that the number is actually the part number of the PC
board itself. Was this number etched into the copper, or was it stamped in
black ink?
The number falls into the range of numbers used as aud
Thank you Gary,
The 19C328763G1 was printed on the PCB component side and it have IC CA3089E,
the data od CA3089E was a FM-IF Amplifier/Limiter.

Joel, it will be almost the same, but instead of seeing the “waves” of the
peak/pass and dip/notch., you will only see the vertical “spike” of the
generated signal. Just like if you hooked the generator directly to the S/A.
you will only be able to adjust for max pass of the desired freq (talles
Got you Don, thanks for responding.
But I'm looking for something more specific as to, how one may hook up, the
aforementioned equipment to do what the spectrum analyzer/with the TG does to
obtain a set of duplexer tuned to a specific frequency.

Maybe so, but "break" it in half and have one end swaged to
insert into the other.
In fact, isn't that what DB and the other antenna manufacturers do anyway?
Just thinking out loud...

find it on Repeater Builder, need the LBI to order or download the manual.
Is there a way to search the board number 19C320523G2 to LBI-, this is what
I need to learn.

No, you will only see the peak and skirts of the generated signal, you need to
terminate all the duplexer ports with 3db 50 ohm pads and tune for pass first,
lock those down them tune the reject path

Can someone in the group give me a sketch diagram of the setup, for tuning a
duplexer with the following equipment I have?.
I have two (2) service monitors (Marconi 2955/A), and a spectrum analyzer
(Avcom PSA-65A, no built-in tracking generator)

Another factor that I have seen happen is the combination of the direct signal
radiating from the antenna and the reflected signal bouncing back from the
metal surface combining out of phase to give a null and resulting in a weird

Jim,
silicone tape has been around for decades. Military have been using it to seal
all types of connections and many have quietly introduced it to the wireless
industry. There are more makers now (other than 3M) so we're seeing it more and
more available from suppliers. Properly applied it make
I've never used the C-Tape but I suspect it's the same stuff available
at marine supply stores called Rescue Tape.
