Thanks for all the fast replies. The only hitch in my idea is finding a voip or voice client for the blackberry that is not designed to make cheapy phone calls, but that can work like a walkie talkie, either full duplex or half duplex. Any one know of a blackberry app that can work like

I can call anyone in the USA and Canada with my Magic Jack. I am assuming it works the same way from Canada. Check out their web site to be sure. You must have a reliable high speed internet connection for it to work good. I have dumped my $51 a month landline and now use MJ as my home phone. I

Maybe I'm in the minority, but my experience with Magicjack has not been good. Echoes or stutters. I've checked and adjusted my PC for optimum performance. Quality checks with recommended servers yields good results but 75% of the time I get echoes that vary from minor to severe. 73 de Jack
