I have a spectrum 220 rec. It worked well in a site by it self. But
once I transferred it to the main site ful of wonderful pager Tx and
other com repeaters in the same site. Forgetaboutit. Regardless of how
much filtering. So we went to a Micor Rec. Problem solved.

The problem is that there is one timeout timer, one
carrier
Mathew, we are completing the same project for my UHF system as well.
Your main should be port 1 on the RVS-8 and the voting rec at the main
site should go to port 2 and port 3 depending on how many aux rec sites
you have. The output of the RVS-8 controller will go your main
controller. My partn
ting as I have a couple of low level repeaters with
G6-440's in a temperate climates
which have not degraded in performance.
I wouldn't want to use a G6-440 in an environment which sees any ice
and wind, they are too frail for that environment.

I started off with the 2 G6-440 my self. It lasted about a year before
the SWR started flying thru the roof and the second about 7 months after
that. Pattern was ok while it lasted. Go for DB products and save
yourself from headaches later.
Good Luck

If you email me directly I can send you the schematic. Other wise open
the top cover. Look somewhere in the middle. look for the component
labeled 440. Put a meter on it you should get voltage for cor. I use
them for a 6 and 10 meter repeater.

voice synth. in it? Kind of like the vs-3 chip that is in the Kenwood
stuff. Wan
I have a VHF cellwave which has a faded label. I cant tell what model it is.
However the freq stamp was still clear at 154. MHZ. The antenna tip has a
fiberglass whip. Can I replace that whip to tune for 220 MHZ. If so what would
be the overall length of the antenna??

The SRA series Syntors will make e
necesary.
If you only want to adjust the microphone sens. you only have to
open the radio top and botom, take the front apart, in the components
side will be a variable resistor just above the mic. conector , this is the
microphone sensibility control
hope this helps

Richard, it's through the software or via the front panel but ONLY if the
radio
is programmed to allow you to get into this mode on power up..
