We use many ham and commercial repeaters using the same antennas, but
require the proper filtering. A mobile duplexer is not sutable for what you
are trying to do here. You can get a transmit combiner Hybrid or cavity for
the transmitters and use a receiver multicoupler that has a dual window one

eFax shows up as a TIFF format file, and nothing I have
right now will take TIFF and make it into a file that I can

No the FCC does not require a 1st any longer but most broadcast stations do.
Your buddy should have traded his 1st for the new GROL. That is need to get
a job with many broadcasters (TV/Radio).
