ere's something added to
the album title, but a short test returned matching information.
So I think I will do it...

Yeah, but what about "Purple, Deep" or "Zeppelin, Led"? :)

Indeed I was thinking of Michael's AlbumReview plugin when I added this
comment. But since I wasn't sure (and too lazy to search) I phrased it
more generally. But if my memory served me right, chances are good that
Michael implemented it the same way for Smart Mix.

I'd run LMS with only that single album in the music library to try
isolating the problem.
Can you copy it to your local hard disk, point your LMS library to that
folder and do a full library scan? Before you start experimenting you
can stop LMS and create a copy of the LMS cache folder to make i
I want to revive this thread for an additional question:
I'm still reluctant to use multiple artist tags since I'm not really
satisfied how they are shown in the Now Playing screen.
Using the previous example, when I set tags like

Is the albumartist tag really needed in your case?

I will also check how much albums are affected before I change anything.
:) Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

Guess this is a typo. LMS 7.7.3 is the latest version released, while
7.8.0 is in beta and probably will not be released officially.

For getting album art (on Windows) I'm using AlbumArtDownloader
(sourceforge.net/projects/album-art/) that looks up multiple sites in
parallel and presents the findings in a view from where to check details
and select what satisfies you.
I don't embed album art in flacs but store it as cover.jpg i
I'm using the exact format for file names as shown above by garym. And
as JJZolx pointed out, using mp3tag you can rename your files according
to their tags. So after you've corrected your TITLE and TRACK tags in
mp3tag you can bulk rename them with a built-in converter (menu

Yes, I'd prefer that too, but with mp3tag it means ID3v2.4. Don't know
whether all concerned devices are supporting it...

Not sure what exactly you want to achieve, but if you feel brave enough
you can create the regex expressions yourself with the help of an online
tool.
Just looked at the first that a quick search revealed
(https://regex101.com) and it's a nice one explaining step by step what
the expression does.

Any specific reason for this? Mp3tag does an excellent job on flacs, at
least for my needs.

You can definitely use Mp3tag for flac files. I strongly disagree with

I wouldn't do this. IIRC if there are no tags then LMS tries guessing
them.
I'd rather try several steps like
- do a full scan
- removing
What do you get when you remove the last track of that album and do a
rescan?
What tags do you have in the flac files of this album?
You mentioned before that there's nothing in the 'extended tags' of
mp3tag. Maybe this is a misunderstanding as the 'extended tags' view of
mp3tag is a list of all

As DJanGo mentioned, remove the COMPILATION tag from the files.
And of course, if you have different ARTIST tags in an album, make sure
that all files have identical ALBUMARTIST tags. And I'd remove ALBUM

Mp3tag reads&writes different types&versions of tags. But having
multiple tag versions in parallel time might cause issues. So first
check that mp3tag shows a single tag type for your t
