Likely not even that. The HPI drivers are already there, and should 'just
work'.
Why does it seem I am always the exception? Cards not recognized, trying
to run hpiinfo gives mee an error the ASI HPI driver is not loaded.
How do I load it? or do I need to install it?

Hello,
We have two main groups for our music. One is the default (MUSIC), and
another one is used only for shows (MUSIC_EMIS). Presenters add their
own music in that group. MUSIC has a numbering range of 010001-04,
and MUSIC_EMIS has 070001-09. This group is not used in scheduling.
Have to change in both cut and cart tables likely using mysql. or
mysqladmin; but maybe check with Fred about how RD tracks the next cart
number when assigning new carts to system.
If it justs reads the last highest number from existing database then
might work, but if it is tracking it

Hi all,
I have been using Rivendell for almost two years now with great success.
However I recently helped set up another machine for a friend who runs
an online station here in the UK. All has been running fine except
recently he has found some strange goings-on with the CHAIN-TO event at

I have two stations that encounter this problem, seemingly randomly, not
very often, but often enough to be annoying. Would love to get to the
bottom of it.

Agreed. This is looking like a hardware problem. :(
Just for grins, it might be worth trying it with just a single card installed.
And then
OK, I'll report my findings back. I also have some windows machines I
can test on, and another rivendell machine in the production room that I
was not going to use these cards in but I can try to test one there, it

I also experienced similar problems with our playout station, also
randomly and not often. Very interested in the resolution of this

It's pci, and is supposed to be compatible with 3.3v or 5v signaling. It
is installed in a pci-x slot, also supposed to work like that. I will

The jumper is not the problem, though that is what it is for.
Looks like the highest driver version that supports the ASI6012 is 3.08.06.
