Pretty sure it was caed. Unfortunately I deleted all those logs (because I
fullfilled the hard disk) and I can't paste the message.
Yes, probably if I stop daemons no trace of messages will be taken... but

I've used the icecast module with 2.14, 2.4 and 2.5 as long as you set
the default now and next cart I'm not seeing this behaviour.
I do install from source with some custom tweaks but I've not touched
the rlm stuff.

Wayne

This worked for me (Rivendell 2.2.1 on Ubuntu 12.04):
Find the rlm_icecast2.rlm file (which should have been created when you build
from source). If can't find the rlm file or it doesn't work please see further

Make a text file called e.g. rlm_icecast2.conf and put the
Go with the rlm_icecast2 module, just make sure curl is installed and it
works fine. Takes about 30 seconds to set up.

I just followed the instructions and it worked. I do have netcat, lynx
and awk installed because I had also tried streamdata v 1.0. I believe
one of these is required for rdstreamdata.
I haven't tried the rlm icecast2 module,
Hi Mike,
No I haven't yet tried that, but your assistance would be greatly
appreciated.
I have only ever used rdstreamdata

Do you mean sending the title of each song as it plays?
If so have you tried the rlm icecast2 module?
Happy to give instructions if that would help.
