rd.conf is configured correctly, far as I can tell anyway. I'm just wondering
if there's something I missed?

Mostly because I wanted to use StereoTool, which is only compatible with JACK.

Great news! I think we just had a breakthrough with the AudioScience card.
Everything appears to be functioning, except a silly issue where the left

You make a very good point. I'm natively a Mac/Linux guy (and former IT

Thank you Lorne! I have to admit, I'm still very new at using Rivendell, but my
years of Linux administration have smoothed out some of the bumps, and your
guide explained the process very well.
Now the next hurdle is getting Rivendell to work at all. I've yet to play out

Is it possible to insert a remote stream in Rivendell at a certain time?

My experience with Rivendell so far has been quite bumpy. I installed the
Broadcast Appliance (v2) and never quite got everything working, thanks to
what I later discovered was a defective card from ASI.
Next, I tried Ubuntu, and with the help of ASI engineers, had everything
(mostly) functional.
After fighting with Ubuntu, I've decided to give the Broadcast Appliance DVD a
try. Does anyone have a link to the most recent version? (Hopefully it's on
CentOS 7.)

How would I go about selecting the driver for Rivendell, Drew? Rivendell seems
to see the drivers, but when I click "Audio Ports" everything under the cards
menu seems to be greyed out. (And "card driver" says Unknown.)
Am I missing something or in the wrong menu?

I'm not sure, Karl. How would I check?

After going through the TecWhisperer tutorial, I'm still a bit fuzzy on
configuring JACK with ALSA for my Rivendell system. I'm hoping someone has a

Currently, ALSA and JACK see each other. ALSA sees my ASI 5221 card. So all is

So I did something not-so-smart. Installed Rivendell (from the tryphon
repos), and realized I didn't have a Rivendell DB., so I made one. Now
rdadmin is complaining that the table "Rivendell.VERSION" doesn't exist.
Ideas?
