I finally got it (sage) to work on the asus. Here are some random comments. 1. A lot of preporatory work was done on my ubuntu desktop. For example, the sd card is mounted as root and typically formatted as vfat. I reformatted as ext2. Also, for copying, I didn't use the command line (even with

Hi, i'm not using an eeepc, but i think your slax + sage + python +... would be really interesting for many ppl using this sort of software. Means, an official ISO image would be fantastic :D This distro is not only for EeePC, but it can run on other PC and Notebook. Only I had added some

Thank you. I'm downloading this now. I have a borrowed asus eee with xandros. If I copy your files onto a SD card, how do I start sage from the asus? 2008/5/12 chu-ching huang [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Hi all, I build a live slax linux on 2G USB pendriver with Sage-3.0.1, CAS and other python

Slax linux is created by the purpose of moible. It means: running applications without installation. If you want to use Sage in our way , you have to do: 1. prepare one 2G pendriver; 2. download slax-6.0.7.tar from www.slax.org, tar it and copy all extracted files to pendrive, just only 2
