Yellow/Orange (sun?) icon. I'll see if when I get into work it's OK or still
black.

Only reason I can see for it would be an issue with the video driver.
On my own system I'm also using 32 bits colors and I see the icon perfectly.

display them we issue standard API calls.

Hope you saved a copy of the host file---sometimes
it gets overwritten. You should be able to just open the host file.
